Why Do YOU Train?

So, with all the different ideas and projects I’ve got being put together and created right now, I wanted to take a bit of time to step to the side for a second and listen to what YOU have to say about something that’s very important to me.

I want to know WHY YOU TRAIN

But first, before we go any further, let me just drop in my two cents about WHY I TRAIN real quick…

For me, I train because training is one of the BEST ways I can truly express myself.

Training for me is essentially apart of who I am as a person.  What started out as training for overall sport and performance has now become training for life…

The feeling of getting stronger, more powerful, explosive, and just overall healthier is absolutely essential to me.

I’m not the least bit afraid to admit that I’m addicted, for training is my drug!

I’m addicted to having the cold steel of a barbell, dumbbell, or kettlebell in my hands with sweat dripping off of my forehead.

I cherish the feeling of accomplishment when I lift for a new PR…

I welcome the feeling of pure exhaustion I feel after I finish a BRUTAL conditioning session…

Even in times of defeat, I still welcome the challenge that training offers to me each and every time I train.


Because I LOVE training…  I train because it’s what I do and what helps create who I am as a person…

So I ask YOU, my reader…  my loyal follower…  Why DO YOU TRAIN?  What motivates you?  What pushes you?
